Default Different layout on Tiddlywink pattern

Last summer someone posted the link to a free PDF pattern by Roxanne Carter called Tiddlywinks. I made one and loved it, turned it in for the charity I sew for (this is the second quilt shown). A couple days ago, I put together the blocks for another tiddlywink quilt, it's the one posted first, but when it was put together, it didn't look right so I looked up the pix of the one I made a year ago. Boy oh boy they don't look like the same block! But I love this one jeven more, it has so much more drama.

I like both layouts. The light background shows off the colors better, mho. But both are great!

I have made these blocks using bright colors for a charity quilt but I haven't gotten around to pressing them. Was surprised how quickly they came together.

Both of these quilts turned out so lovely! Isn't it amazing what happens when we just make one teensy adjustment

Nice layout on both, but the lighter one is my favorite.
