Default Blueberry Pie filling

DH loves blueberry tarts (yuck). I want to make a couple using frozen tart shells & canned pie filling. Do I toss the rest of the filling (expensive here), or can I freeze the rest of filling for about a month.

I would freeze it well covered. It should be fine. Better yet- make your own with fresh berries- much nicer and you can make just a bit for a few tarts.

I would freeze it. It is so expensive to throw away. Maybe your DH would eat it on ice cream or something like that

Put it in a freezer bag and squish out all the air, then freeze. When you want to make some more tarts, thaw, cut a corner off the bag and squeeze out the filling into the shells.

Can you use up the pie filling making extra tarts and then freeze the tarts?
