Default Squares in Squares

This quilt comes from NY. it's a 'wedding quilt' The client asked that we lay out a pattern so this is what we did. Her only instruction was to include the names & date. Not a traditional (like grandma would have done it) but hopefully not to wild. I'm sure this quilt top pattern has a official name, "disappearing something?" I just call it squares in squares. This quilt has poly batting and she wishes to bind it herself.
Hope you enjoy the pictures and they give you some ideas.

Love the quilting especially on the dark rust (brown?) fabric! Beautifully done!
