Default Guess Who Loves You Big Block Baby Quilt

I made this quilt for my soon-to-arrive great nephew. Usedthe Dream Puff batting to make it extra soft. I bought the book andbunny to make this a nice shower gift to welcome this baby boy. Thepattern was recommended by a friend who uses this pattern for donation quilt tohospitals. I showed my niece the quilt at her shower before the quilting was done so now do I wait until the baby is here to make a label since he doesn't have a name yet or give the quilt without a label?

Sew sweet! You could always just do the label posted by BeckyL,.... With a butterfly kiss and a ladybug hug, Sleep tight little one like a bug in a rug.

What a sweet set of gifts.
I think it would be better to wait until you know the name. The name on a quilt is very special.

I always prefer to wait until I have a name and birthdate to put on the label.

I would ask the mother to see what she would prefer. My Xmas stocking was knitted with the name Jill which wasn't what was finally written on my birth certificate when I was born.

The pattern can be purchased from e-PatternCentral.com. It is called Baby Steps. The pattern called for the binding to be made from the backing but I chose to use a coordinating color.
