Default My Cancun view quilted- thanks for the help

I posted on the main board asking for advice about this wallhanging. It was recommended that I add some shading to the rails. I got some Inktense blocks and shaded them. Also I adjusted the rails some. The tall post is not a palm tree but is part of the structure. I also made the thatch more choppy.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions. I am very happy with how this came out. It just needs the binding. I am also posting the original photo.

Your wall-hanging is very well done. A lot of work too. I would be very pleased if it were mine. Your clouds and water look very real.

Thanks for showing us the finished quilt. It turned out wonderfully. And your quilting is marvelous.

I can't see it either. I just see "attachment" with a tiny checked box. But then I am sitting in a dim office and a picture of Cancun might just be too depressing. (NOT!)

I am glad the pictures are coming through now. This is certainly a quilt I wanted to see. You did a very fine job with all of this. So much better than a mere postcard to remember you trip with.
