Wow Lacelady they are beautiful. You have quite a number of blocks done. How far ahead are you? More inspiration. Thank you my friend!

I have up to week 18 completed, and half of week 19, then the rest are blocks I have done ahead of time, quite a few because they have hand applique on them, so I can do them in front of the TV in the evenings when I am too tired to sit at the machine. I have stopped for a few days to work on a IRR border, then I will start again from week 19 onwards.

A couple of questions ... I did not read EVERY page, skipped 2 at at time and browsed every 3rd page for a while ...

I got to page 23 and saw the convos about using a picture website - are we doing this? Can someone provide details?

Also, what are the "prizes" for?

There really are just too many pages to look through, but my curiosity is piqued.

Thanks!!!

Lacelady they are great. If I remember correctly you are going to do your quilt in a TAW layout. Those colors are awesome. They are going to be great in a TAW. Your are inspiring. :-)

I can't remember what the picture website was about, but the prizes are an incentive to keep going. Every six weeks, all who have posted their pictures of the blocks made, i.e. they are keeping to the schedule (on page one) are elegible to go into a draw for said prize.

Yes, you are right, I am doing a Trip around the World layout, so the blocks in my picture are just put on the floor in a random way. You can probably pick out a lot of turqoise blocks, there are more of them than any other colour, next is a pink print, but the general colour scheme is pinks, lavendars & purples, turqoise, green and blue. I am using more of some of my batik collection in the triangles, for a bit more variety. I am going to put the background fabric inbetween my triangles, rather than more coloured fabrics.

Go for it Wil', don't worry that you are a bit behind - you still have a chance of catching up, and even if you can't catch up, just keeping going will get you there in the end.
