Default Jekyll and Hyde

This quilt can't decide who it is--calm, sedate Dr. Jekyll (churn dash blocks) or wild, crazy Mr. Hyde (string blocks). Quilting it was also a Jekyll and Hyde experience--smooth, problem-free quilting, until I would run into a fabric that shredded my thread! As befits the name, I'm of two minds about it--I can't decide if I like it or not!

I love the back a lot! The front is nicely done, but a bit chaotic for my taste, the name seems very appropriate.

Very cool!! The diamond shapes seem to jump out the quilt. Nice work.

I really like the frenetic movement that you get from the front. My eye bounces between the churn-dash blocks and then tries to settle on the string blocks, then starts bouncing again. I love it! The back is a fun and restful interlude-- Well done and well named!
