Please Help Me? following threads
I was wondering if someone could help me . I am trying to figure out what I am missing, to be able t follow threads. On other sites, if I reply to a thread it automatically has me following the thread unless I unclick a box requesting not to. I also get notification in my email that someone has added to the thread. Does this site have this setting somewhere and I am just missing it or is it something that is not available here? I hope this makes sense to what I am asking. Thanks in advance. I am not sure how I will know if any one has replied to my question. I will try to see if I can find my question and follow. Hugs Davena

Many of us use ad blocker software so nothing follows me. You should have probably posted this in the QB help section. I think you have to select a specific thread in order for an email to be sent to you.

Gramajo explained how to subscribe to a specific thread. If you want to change your default so that you ALWAYS subscribe:
click on "Forum Actions" at the top of this page (it's under the script Quilting Board logo).
Then select "General Settings"
Scroll down to the "Default Thread Subscription option in the Messaging & Notification section
Select one of the last 3 options "Instantly" "Daily" or "Weekly"
Be sure to scroll to the bottom of that page & click on "Save Changes"
Now every thread you create or comment on will send an automatic notice.
...
If you want to just see your posts & access those threads, click on your name at the top of the page.
When your profile comes up, click on "Find latest posts" on the left side of the page.
there may be a small time lag between the time you comment and it showing up in your profile list.

"Quick links" in the heading has a "subscribed threads" option. If I click on that, I get all the threads to which I have responded or to which I have manually subscribed. You will always find any thread you have started there.

There is also a "Find latest Threads" there. You can click on that and see any comments added to your thread. You can also see how many people have viewed your thread. That goes on forever I guess. One of my threads was posted more than a year ago and now has more than 8,900 views, and going up each day.
