Default Bed stripping

When staying with family, we always strip the bed on our last day visiting. All our family does this. We visited some friends for a couple of days, and I started stripping the bed on our last morning there, but my husband said he didn't think that would be proper.
Do you strip the beds before you leave?

Yes! I also let the hostess know I stripped the bed and ask for fresh linens so I can remake it for her before leaving.

I never have but then I don't really like staying with people so I mostly stay in hotels.

Always ask first, but usually do strip the bed as I am packing up to leave. Sometimes, though, the householder does not want the linens to sit in the laundry area until she can get to the task of washing them.

I wouldn't mind a guest doing it, I always go in and strip the spare bed as soon as someone leaves, even if they only stayed overnight.

No I ask company not too. I can do that myself. All I want company to do is not leave a mess in the bathroom. Family that stay here are grands and their parents so I'm too concerned about them leaving the linens one way or the other and they aren't concerned either. LOL

When staying with family I strip the bed and put the sheets in the wash. Sometimes we leave after they've gone to work so I either leave the sheets in the dryer or folded up on the bed so they'll know they were washed.

I always strip the bed and ask for clean sheets to remake the bed for the next guest. However, if the host says they will take care of the remake, I respect their wishes.

make the bed.

I only stay with daughter or grandson & wife. I just make the bed. We don't have guests.
