Default Downloading PMs

I see that we can download out PMs as

XML
CSV
TEXT

I do not know what they are - will someone please explain them to me?

They are three different file formats, txt would probably be the best way. It will save your pm's as a text file.

XML is an extension used with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
CSV is an extension used for Comma Separated (can't remember what the V means and is usually part of a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
TEXT is an extension usually used with a Microsoft Word document.

just a note -- xml isn't for spreadsheets. It usually is used for documents you can view in a browser. So, I'd guess, use xml if you want to look at the documents from your browser (firefox, expolorer, chrome). Use csv if you want to put docs in a spreadsheet (can't think of a reason to ever do this ..) Use Text if you just want to look at the files using notepad or wordpad type programs.
