Default Never give up

More than 10 years ago my friend made a quilted wallhanging. I fell in love with it. She no longer had the pattern. I have searched for it for years. Yesterday I found it on eBay! I am so excited. And it's being shipped from just 45 miles away. And the low price, $5.20, including shipping. So happy, you'd think I'd won the lottery!

Love your story. Just curious....what was the name of the pattern?

Something I'm teaching my kids at the moment - persistence pays. Congrats!

It does show that you should never give up. There was this Disney Christmas thing that I had that played music. I had gotten it when my two youngest kids were little now they are close to 30. It had 4 houses and Goofy, and the gang would pop out and sing songs. I put it up every year and the kids and grandkids loved it. Several years ago it got ruined and we were all so upset. Many things had gotten ruined but this was one that hurt. I searched for several years and couldn't find it. Then a few years ago I saw it on Craigslist. I called the women and I told her I wanted it. She was surprised that I was willing to drive over 2 hours to get it. My first day off my daughter came over and we headed out. I hadn't even told her in advance where we were going. She was so excited and its great having it back in the family again. So happy you found your pattern and so totally know how excited you are. Happy sewing
