Default Friendship Sampler Quilt Boom 17 Opal Swap

I participated in the Boom 17 swap and was in the Opal group. Here is the quilt I made from all the fantastic blocks I received from the ladies in the group, plus some by me and some outside swaps. I quilted each block individually and them joined them, QAYG style.

If anyone would like more info on the QAYG method of joining blocks, I have posted a tutorial here:

Wonderful quilt-I love your colors. Your method is great. I have been somewhat curious about these swap groups but have never pursued the idea--maybe I should.

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the colors, and all those beautiful blocks.

Yes, I was gifted some wonderful blocks. Love the way they all work together.

Quilterpurpledog, you should try the next Boom swap. It's a lot of fun. This was my first but won't be my last.
