They are fine with me Kass. It's hard to get them the true F8 size, the fabrics vary so much in width anymore and it seems the salvaged ends are all different I've had some that are a 1/4 inch and some up to 1 1/4 inch ...big difference on the cuts. When I've bought F4's lately they are all short fabric. I cut mine for this swap about 1/2 to 1 inch larger than the 18 because they are about 10 1/2 or 10 3/4 inches wide.

Well I was going to join the 2 month group but as a newbie I think I'd better stick with one group. I'd rather do a good job on the first 20 than a lousy job on 30.
Ok to give you a chuckle. Some of the guests are arriving in about an hour. We'll be 7 with 3 to arrive Sunday. Clearly I don't have my act together. This afternoon I was cleaning up the sewing room, from the backpack sewing extravaganza so my niece can sleep there. I finally put up the Christmas decorations an hour ago. A friend of mine was over yesterday and she lent us her tree, lights, decorations and all. It sure made decorating easy. We just bundled the whole thing in the van and brought it in all ready to go. She called it the best Christmas tree caper ever. Never borrowed a Christmas tree before.
Hope everyone is feeling better and recovered.

I will also opt to double up in the 2 month group. Why not?
Also, I don't mind a short cut of fabric. Mine are all going to be a tad smaller, widthwise. I used a fat 1/4 bundle, so one F4 of each was all I had. Once I trimmed off the selvedge and then cut them in half, they were a tad short. Can't help that, sorry.
