Default Connecting Threads - Pattern name

I recently got a Connecting Threads catalog and they had a new kit which I really like. It is called Bellisimo quilt kit. I was wondering what the name of the pattern was. Is it a type of Irish Chain?
For some reason I am not able to send a link for Connecting Threads, or the kit.
Thanks.

i think it looks like a irish chain 'variation' and looks very easy to piece. there are many vintage blocks that when placed side by side w/o sashing would give this look.

yes, it seems to be an Irish chain variation with added center pieced squares

Thanks for your help. It looks like they put more open space around the center block.

That kit is really quite affordable. 11.25 yards, PLUS the pattern, for $67.05?? That's $5.96 a yard! If you figure you normally pay about $10 for the pattern, that makes it $5 per yard. Quite a bargain, if you ask me.
