Default Bear Mountain Cabin

I fell in love with this quilt that Podunk Princess made ( http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t271687.html ) and knew I had to make it.

Well, my niece is getting married in June and I thought this would be perfect for her. Brown is her favorite color and their decorating style is country. Thought I had lots of time to make it, but found I needed surgery and will be out of commission for 6 months. So, I hurried up the quilting process and of course, Murphy's law prevailed. I had to rip out just about everything at least once. The quilting in the dark center was done 3 times!

This was a lesson in humility! But I am pleased with the results. Now to get it in the mail.

Sorry for the fuzzy, sideways pic.

How neat that you were inspired to piece a quilt you saw and fell in love with from the QB! Your niece is very lucky! I hope your surgery goes uneventfully!
