Default Sassy Snake, Flaming Flamingo and others join the Menagerie

Seven down and 6 to go. Have learned so much including that Batiks, while you can use both sides of the fabric, vary from one side to another. I had a great looking green batik that definitely looked like scales. So ironed my fusible to it and surprise, when I turned it over, it was definitely not a scaly pattern. Then I began checking others and discovered that while some are definitely usable for the pattern from either side, some others vary and don't have a distinct pattern. A little late to the learning curve.

Great quilt. Kids quilts are my favourite quilts to make, they are the most fun. Thank you for sharing.

Very cute! All of your animals are very winsome; I cannot choose a favorite. Thank you for showing us your progress and sharing your journey. I will be glad to see the nest installment as you move toward the finish of your quilt.

I've seen the pattern where the animals have cute shoes on. Great job.
