Default Pillows Covers

Good Morning Everyone, Taking a break form La Pascarella lol. I have been taking a lot of breaks from that quilt lol....anyway, a friend was debating about throwing out some perfectly good, feather couch pillows because the vinyl was tearing. I advised her to just make covers for them and offered to make her one. Well I made her four lol.

I always have extra blocks laying around from blocks of the month that I join or just a scrap one or two etc. I also have lots of strips laying around as well so it was no big deal to just add strips to a block and make the size needed. I used four blocks on one just to see the difference ..and didn't take a pic of that one, I guess. I layed out a backing out of ugly fabric, put a piece of batting and then the block on top and just started adding strips, then made the removable back so it could be removed to be washed.

It didn't take anytime at all to make these all in, not even half a day. I did enjoy doing them as a break...it went so fast and they look so colorful. She loved them.

The first one is a Pam Bono pattern from one of her books.

Great use of the blocks turning them into a wonderful pillow cover! So generous.
