Default cotton hat

Due to advancing hair loss, I decided to make this cotton crocheted hat last night. Thought it would be best to cover up for the 4th of July picnic.

That's cute. How long did it take you to make? I can see it just fine. It's made with white yarn with light blue and yellow coloring every so often. Flat swirly top and the sides look like a slanted top hat with a band that kind of curls up. Nice!

It took 5 hours. I just wore it out on errands... very comfortable.

A perfect cranial cover! I have been wearing a boring baseball cap to cover up.

here's a link to the pattern if you like https://www.allfreecrochet.com/Caps-...-Hat-with-Brim
I crocheted a couple of extra rows on the top portion to come down lower over the ears. I also replaced the green strip with triple crochets in case i want to thread a ribbon or elastic through it.
