    Default Lacrosse theme quilt

Made this 80x65 quilt for my nephew’s upcoming HS graduation in May. Modified a pattern i saw on the internet into EQ7 but can’t find the pattern again. Nephew loves to play lacrosse so I appliqued some lacrosse sticks and added a touch of red color (represents lacrosse balls) to go with the black, white, grey, silver fabric. The white portion in the top and bottom borders represent the goalie area. I thought the quilt blocks themselves looked like opposing teams the way the fabric is situated. Flannel on the back and we’re good to go! Now on to my making my niece’s graduation quilt and my other nephew’s October wedding quilt and ....

Awesome quilt . . . especially the use of black and white prints and touch of red. I'm having some frustration in doing just that so your quilt provides some inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Great quilt for a graduate. Our youngest son played lacrosse through high school and college. It was a family time as we traveled to see him. I know the recipient of this quilt will love it-forever.
