    Default Westalee ruler foot.

I own both a Pfaff Expression 2034 and a Pfaff Creative 4.5 and I am just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the westalee foot staying on with using the rulers. I know I have the correct shank but it appears that the screw is not long enough to keep the foot staying on. It is really annoying as it can give way at anytime as the screw loosens. I have heard there is a pfaff screw that is longer but it appears it is not available in Australia. My dealer is trying to source one but has not have had any luck yet. I would appreciate any advice that you would have.
Thank you very much in advance.

Sorry I'm not any help -- I have an Elna and have no trouble at all with the Westalee ruler foot.

I would think that you could find a longer screw at a hardware store. Also a tiny dab of blue loctite would probably keep the screw from coming loose, but would still allow it to be loosened.

I would contact the Westalee people directly. https://westalee.com.au/

A machine shop may be able to give/sell you a suitable screw that will fit. Take the one you have that's too short and see what they can do. They need the short one to get the correct thread for the screw.

I don't have that trouble on my Pfaff 4.2. I would contact the seller and/or Westalee.
