Default A couple flannel shirts for me.

I decided to get them finished before spring is here. These are great to wear in Arizona climate. I have to sew the buttons on the second one tomorrow. I always have trouble with the buttonholes on the cuffs. With the second shirt I cut some of the interfacing away so it would not be so thick. Just a small bump to go over and it messes up. Have you ever tried to pick out a button hole and then if you do the machine does not work in the same place the second time.

I really like those. does it get cold in Arizona? I seem to be still waiting for Winter in Texas. But then i've lived in Colorado for so long, maybe we have really had Winter here already. but 80 degrees, then 50 the next day. i'm confused.
Flannel sounds so soft and warm! i bought a pair of PJ's recently that are nice and soft inside. i love them.

Pretty blouses. You did a good job making them.

No to your question about buttonholes. But then again, I don't like garment sewing.
You wear flannel in Arizona? That surprised me.
They are really nice looking tops!!

Love your 2 new shirts. They look so comfy & pretty. Yes, I've had to pick out a buttonhole before & it is not fun. I know you will enjoy those shirts when your weather is cool.

They look comfy and cozy. The second print is perfect for AZ too. Looks so stylish.

Been years since I sewed garments. I used to sew most of my clothes for work. Jackets with shoulder pads and the works ! No patience for that anymore.

Oh yeah, it can get cold. Lived in northern Arizona many, many years ago,( lived in Show Low and graduated from Snowflake High School) and can remember all of the snow and cold.
