    Default Singer Quantum Stylist?

I'm in the market for a new machine, and while I want an electronic one, I'm very hesitant to spend $1000 on a machine that the manufacturer considers a disposable when the motherboard fries or something.

Home Depot (who knew they sold sewing machines?!?) has a Singer Quantum Stylist for under $400 (when it's in stock). Does anyone have any experience with this model?

I have one. I love it. It has features like needle down and thread cutter that more expensive machines have.

I googled that machine and it has great reviews! Saw one at $350! Amazon has them and Joanns. There are videos if you want more info.

I have one too. Absolutely love it, real workhorse and I put it through it’s paces every day.

I have one of the first Quantums. It is very quiet, sturdy, and no problems at all. It has the best needle threader I have ever used. It makes a better stitch then my Bernina. And buying at Home Depot you can return it if you decide it's not what you wanted.
