Default Chicken Quilt by Cluck Cluck Sew

Since I am here sharing my latest finish, I thought I would share another quilt I finished last fall. This was a birthday gift for my niece. As mentioned in the title, this is a Cluck Cluck Sew pattern. The fabric is Piggy Tales by Lewis and Irene and a Marshall Dry Goods solid for the background.

Thanks again for looking 😀

I love your chicken quilt. I had chickens on the farm but something kept getting into them and killing them, so when I got down to just two, I gave them away to a friend that had chickens. I miss them, but didn't want to go through that anymore. You did a great job on the quilt.

I am sorry about losing your chickens. We just started keeping chickens last year. This is the main reason I wanted to make this quilt. The birds are a joy to have and I can understand not wanting to go through loss like that again.

So cute especially with your selection of farm animal fabrics.

I love this chicken quilt! If you don’t mind me asking, what shade color is your background? The computer sometimes makes a color look different than it actually is. My husband doesn’t like that white is used so much so I’m taking second looks at backgrounds that aren’t white or black.

The background is Dream Cotton Peach:

the color on their website is pretty close to what it looks like in person.

I love this quilt. I'm a chicken everything person, so this quilt is very appealing to me. Your fabrics are perfect. Fabulous!!
