    Default Frank Lloyd Wright

Has anyone ever made a Frank Lloyd Wright window quilt using the Coonley House Playhouse windows of Riverside, Illinois? Or have you seen any pattern for those windows? Thanks for your help.

I looked this up on Google. I am amazed! I too would like a pattern of these windows or any other FLW designs. Would make a beautiful quilt. Thanks for bringing this subject up. Hope someone finds something.

A Google search found this blogger post of a Coonley-inspired quilt she designed and quilted Quilting42 Blog FLW Window quilt

It appears to be mostly appliqued, not pieced, except for some sections of the squares, which look like they were pieced then appliqued onto the background fabric. The "leading" is 1/4" bias tape according to her blog.

It shows up in a bunch of Pinterest hits with no linkback to her blog.

Maybe you could design your own pattern?

Jackie Robinson did a lot of FLW quilts. I heard her lecture and Quilt Festival one year. She showed a lot of her quilts and the windows that inspired them. She was really good.
