Thanks so much everyone! You're all doing the most wonderful job!!
Thank you, I am so happy you like it. I have been doing my best with every block I make in this swap, to make it as well as I can and putting lots of love and fun into the work - but I'm new and really haven't a clue how to approach it beyond that!! lol

Thank you! :D

I'm new to all this, and it's just such a wonderful swap to be in.
I think all the blocks on here are just amazing. I haven't learnt precision cutting and scant 1/4 inch seams and all that (freezer paper is my friend lol!) , so I can't really do any of the blocks all you people are making - and it's fascinating for me to see them all! Such beauties.

tink---Sorry if I missed the post about you getting my block, I started highlighting on the list who has gotten mine and I was just making sure.

oatw13---Glad she finally made it home...LOL "Trouble Maker" HUH?? LOL

I'm on the hunt today for that book "Block Magic". I know I can get online but I want it NOW. I looked at JoAnn's yesterday, no luck so going to my bookstores in town.

I'm trying to make a different block for everyone in the swap. I don't want to do a duplicate if I can help it.

Those are some really pretty blocks. I love the controlled scrappy look and your background fabric is so pretty. I am hoping to pull the rest of the fabrics for the ones I got this week when I get back from my local Janome Dealer this afternoon. They are having the revealing of the 7700 and supposedly they are having a big sale on all their machines. If the price is right I might come home with thier full size lightweight the 3060DC. I would love to have a light machine to carry for classes and UFO night. the 3060 is full size but weighs the same as the 760 so I'm going to check them both out and see what the sale price is.
Let you know later if I'm a proud new mommy.

salmon sweet, your blocks have been absolutely stunning, don't sale yourself short. PP is one of those techniques I really want to learn and haven't yet. The sharp points are really neat and you are very good with color, I can't wait to see my block.

I hope to be home tonight or tomorrow morning ...

Appreciate the prayers ... and please keep them coming.
