In the middle of this lovely heat wave my air conditioner died. The neighbor is a air repair guy so he looked at it and said it was dead. I wasn't expecting it to last forever it just needed to last 4 -5 more weeks! We sold the house and are moving at the end of the month. So now what am going to do?

Get you a cheap window unit and stay in one room until you move.

Will you have to replace it since you have sold the house and they are expecting a working air conditioner?

Looks like we need to replace it before the move. Just waiting to hear from the lawyer

Yup, I am a former real estate agent, I am guessing you are going to have to put in something, darn what a shame.

Did you get the home warrant package that some realtors offer? If you did, lucky day, you can get a new one for free. $67 well spent, for sure!
