Here is the quilt I made for my husband for his 51st birthday. He loves wildlife and has just started hunting birds the last couple of years. I used a panel for the center and four smaller panels on the corners. This is a large full size quilt laying on a king size bed in my girlie bedroom but it didn't photograph well in his ( snoring) bedroom. That bedroom has beautiful green walls that work well with this quilt. The backing is flannel.

Definitely a great guy quilt! Nice job working the panels in with the french braid. I never can figure out how to use panels.
