Sometimes you just can't see the thread. Luckily I have a black light option on my long arm. This quilt was sent to me from a board member in Fl. She saw a sneak preview of her quilt last night. I called her before I started and we discussed what she wanted and where.

She wanted feathers in the borders and an allover with roses.

Ooooooooooooh, so pretty.

i have a black light on my longarm also. i use it when i have to mark a white quilt. I mark with black light powder (invisible) through a stencil, and then turn on the black light-- magic!

Very lovely quilting. The black light makes the thread pop out, that is so cool.

You've done a beautiful job of enhancing the quilt. So pretty.

It's beautiful! Both the quilt and the quilting! Too cool with the black light! I fear I would be tempted to switch out my compact flourescent for a black light in my room if it were mine!! :)

So many times, the quilting overwhelms the quilt. You have obtained such wonderful balance. One enhances the other. Super job. Love it

One of these days I am going to use Glow in the Dark thread. I wish I had little ones still at home. What will they think of next!

That is just beautiful. I love that you can see the quilting so well with a black light. Cool. I never knew that. Thanks for sharing the quilt. It's beautiful.
