I finished this recently - no pattern, just the twisted log cabin block from EQ and some freehand quilting on my Janome in the borders. Oh, I stippled heavily in the pink sections and left the dark navy sections unquilted so they jump out. It's 18" x 42". :-D

It's a great block and you can get all sorts of efects by changing the colours and reversing it! This is the second thing I've made and it won't be the last - I'm experimenting at the moment with combining it with a regular log cabin block. What I LOVE is it looks like curves but is all straight line sewing - we can't all be that Eddie bloke who LIKES sewing curves!

I LOVE that block! Is there any way to pass that pattern along? k3n, it came out really beautiful! Very nice job!
