    A good friend of mine just lost her Mom. Her Mom was an avid quilter thus having a large stash of fabric. When I started making pillowcases for our local childrens hospital, she mentioned she could probably help me out with some fabric. What she sent....a paper box FULL of fabric!! I was so excited I practically hyperventilated. lol Even in her grief, she found a way to help out!!

    aww, sorry about your friend, but that was very kind of her.
    I'm happy for you.
    I've been thinking about doing some of those pillowcase dresses and breeches for boys too. :-D

    Sorry about her mom, I like to to think she's up in heaven quilting with my MIL and her very good quilter friend Louise..

    Yes, all quilters would want their stash used in a good way. That was probably a big job, but a great way to honor her mom.
