I know there are sparrow feathers and peacock feathers in this world  but it was my first attempt and they are all mine.

The size is 60" from tip to tip and I got the inspiration from dunsters logcabin diamond star pattern.

The best thing I did read lately at this board (and I read a lot) was someone telling about a Lady selling Babyblankies made of prequilted fabric and non-sewers going crazzy over it. So I decided to loosen up. No chance anyone with any quilting knowledge comming close to my christmas tree.

That is an awesome tree skirt - you did a great job on the feathers as well!

How lovely, who needs presents when this is surrounding the tree? You should be very happy with yourself.

Beautiful treeskirt. You did an excellent job on the piecing and your feathers turned out awesome! Did you mark them before you quilted or did you just "wing it" with your feathers? (no pun intended)
