My digital camera died about three weeks ago so I couldn't take pictures of my latest projects. My DH and I got each other a new digital camera for Christmas. Here are some pictures. I am not very good at making table toppers but I promise to get better. This is my first attempt at FMQ. I did it on my 1955 Featherweight and my 2nd one was smoother than my 1st one. The sides of my octagon are not all the same size on the 1st one but were a little better on the 2nd one. The 3rd one I put borders on a UFO that I purchased from QuiltQtrs. The 4th picture is some of the gifts I made for people I wanted to say "I love you but can't afford much" to for Christmas. Just thought I would share.

    2nd one made for DD

3rd one made for future DIL

Some of the Coasters (sets of 4) and Key chains I made.

1st one I made for dear DIL Sides of Hexagon weren't all the same measurement but she loved it anyway.

I think you did a fabulous job! I have never seen keychains. How clever.

What a beautiful collection....They are really nicely done (great colours) and made with love and care, so what more could anyone possibly want!

The key chains I did on my own. The coasters were done by following a Christmas ornament I received from a secret pal. The octagon toppers were done by trying to follow Riversong's topper. The rectangular topper was just done by imagination.
I have never done FMQ, but on smaller projects I found I could do it. It is definitely not perfect but here is how I approach a gift that someone creates for you. My time is something GOD gave me. You cannot purchase my time unless I let you. If I give you something that takes me time to create, then I am giving you a part of myself. If it is not perfect, then it is a constant reminder the neither am I.
