We have been set a challange by our quilt group to make a small illusions quilt!! Do any of you know where I can download the pattern - have watched plenty of vidios but I find it alot easier to read so that I understand what to do - thank you in anticipation

Don't know about downloading patterns but there is a good book "One Block Wonders Cubed" if that's any help!!

Only too glad to help!!! I got the book from Amazon at Christmas! Still haven't plucked up the courage to try it! The OBW fascinates me but the ammount of fabric required is a bit daunting!!! Keep us posted how you get on!!

Most of the Kaleidoscope/Wheel of Mystery blocks create an illusion when the light/dark is alternated. No books to buy and many free patterns on the internet. Also, many have few pieces per block so easier to reduce/enlarge.

Thanks for the video. This has been something that I have always been fascinated with. She makes it look easy--ha ha
