    I heard that fabric prices were going up ,buttttt - I bought 2 yards of fabric @8.99 w/30% off it still cost over $6.00a yd.!!it was from Hobby Lobby.

    Wonder how long it'll be till even sale prices are too high? We'll just have to get more creative, use more "used" fabrics.

    I do not like the high prices of fabric either, I seem to wait till my local quilt store has her 2.00 a yard fabric.

    Just be glad that you are not Canadian. I just visited a very nice quilt shop in Barrie, Ontario where my daughter goes to college and evey metre in the store was $16.99. They did have a small church pew of clearance fabric, ends of bolts at 30% off of the regular price. I needed fabric with corn on it (for a special project), heavy weight iron on interfacing and a pattern and they didn't have any of it. My daughter says the good thing is I probably won't be going back so she won't have to wait on me to shop!
