update on red double irish chain

Here is an update on my double irish chain. I quilted an x in white squares and in the larger white blocks I done a feather wreath. and in the middle of that small stippling and on the outside also. Now to figure out how to do the border. My border is not big enough to do a feather, I don't think any suggestions

It's beautiful! I am not seeing the edge of the quilt in the photos, so not sure what your border looks like.
