Hello to everyone! I wanted to share some pictures of my Dresden Plate quilt that I taught myself how to do, and recently completed. This was my first attempt at making a Dresden plate and thought you might like to see it. I have a new local LAQ that I have found and she completed the custom quilting for me. I have attached a close up of the quilting so you can see the lovely work that she does! Thank you for taking a peek at my quilt, as this one has truly inspired me to want to quilt more!

Beautiful job on the quilt. I love the "swirls" that she used for quilting.

Yes...., 42 plates! A total of 840 wedges cut and sewn together!!!

This is one of my favorite patterns and one I will never make. But I sure appreciate the work that goes into it!!
