I'm early today-- Spider Web..The middles of this type of block drive me crazy!! I may open it up or I just might leave it!
Spool was easy to do. My one fabric choice for Spool is kind of bright---The color kept on calling to me from the pile so I answered and decided to add it.

I like your bright spool! I have some very bright colors in some of my blocks; I'm trying to have enough so that they won't be overly noticeable when the quilt is put together; ditto with some of the boring "colorless" blocks. I think if I have enough of dull/bright, dark/light variety, it should all work together. Anyway, here are my 83 & 84:

FYI, this topic is listed twice. My pictures show up in one of the 2 places, so we might get two 83/84 photo threads going at the same time.

my finger was spastic today when I posted the threads. Hopefully the other one will be removed before any other photos are posted.

Great blocks, ladies. I liked Spider Web and would like to see a bunch of them together-bet it makes a neat secondary pattern (like a kaliediscope which I can't spell). How do ya like the spools (only novelty fabric I own LOL).

I LOVE your thread spools fabric. I had the same thought about Spider Web side to side, etc.; I wonder if I can use EQ 5 to see what it would look like. (Is it very obvious that I never use my EQ software?)

It's spelled thusly: kaleidoscope (said Weezie, the SCRABBLE whiz).
