I bought a 5 foot folding table at Staples and then to a set of bed risers at Bed bath and beyond to raise the table up higher. It is the perfect height.

Yes, I have one of those tables from JoAnns and I like it alot. The sides drop down if you don't want it open all the way, and I like that about it. I'm 5'3" and it's just the right size for my height. Good luck in whatever you choose. Lynda

I use my breakfast bar which is part of my kitchen counter top. It is much higher than the rest of the counter top.

I use a utility table also, with legs raised with PVC pipes. Husband cut them to height needed. Works great. I think I bought my table at KMart.

A cutting table at the right height makes a lot of difference.Even the commercially sold ones are too low for me.

I have a table I rescued from the trash and raised it up to a proper height with bed raisers under each leg.

I bought a Kitchen Cart with storage underneath. It is the perfect height for me. It holds the 36" mat. I do sometimes wish it was larger, but with a 9'x9' room that is all the space I had. I cut large pieces on my kitchen counter which is the same height. What is nice is there is storage for rulers, etc. and a drawer for other things I use when cutting.

I use a card table with bed risers under it. I found bed riseres for $4.99 at a discount store called "The Christmas Tree Shop". Just be sure you purchase a package of 4 with all 4 risers the same height. Some packs of 4 contain two 6" and two 4" risers, I guess so you can raise your bed to a comfortable height.
