Hope I'm supposed to list the tutorial here since it's on-line. I fell in love with a member's dresden quilt a few weeks ago and ordered myself a tool. Got it today, and found this great tutorial: http://www.designsbyloftcreations.co...-tutorial.html

I had one of them "ah ha" moments when I saw it. :)

I have the ruler and lots of other things in place of the purple thang. I just need to get it on my short list of quilts to make.

Great! Just what I'm looking for. I wanted to make various Dresden Plates to use on end tables that I could change with the season. This tool will make my life a lot easier. Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I've had that tool for ages just meaning to try. She does make it very clear.
