I have a son who has requested a nativity scene. I know these are such a tremendous amount of work even if you buy them unfinished and just paint them, so I am wondering if anyone has made a stained glass wall hanging of the nativity scene. If so, could you tell me where you obtained your pattern? Thank you.

I just did a quick Google of stained glass patterns. You can easily resize them and do a fusible applique.

I just heard about a web site and checked it out. I typed in Coloringbook printable pages on Google. The pictures are perfect for children to color or could be used for applique or stitching.
I copied some off for a friend who used the castle and a picture of a knight on a horse to decorate a birthday cake.
Really nice Nativity scenes.

Using blender fabrics, batiks that are not stamped, look for fabrics that don't have a print/pattern on them, these types really mimic real stained glass.

Actual stained glass patterns work beautifully, too :D:D:D

here is a great book, I have it and it is very well written, many different projects, and has simple applique pieces.

QuiltE, your Nativity Scene is beautiful. I wish you had it on fabric panels.
