I started these this morning for a gift for my Mother for her Birthday. She likes chickens. So thought I would make her these two placemats and then am still thinking on a wallhanging and table runner, in the same fabric panel piece, I have one more set of the rooster and chicken so hope to plan that into it. Just need to decide which to make it in to.
Any ideas which topper or wallhanging I should make them into?
So far I really like how the placemats are turning out. The border print I had cut off the panel and reattatched differently.
Better finish getting them Quilted. Thank you ahead of time for any ideas you may have.........
PS. I don't have anymore of the border fabric but I do have eggs, chicken fence and some small chickens.

Thank you for the kind comments.
I have the binding done on one and working on the binding of the other.
These were a kit(a group of fabrics put together with a panel set) I bought at "Nuts and Bolts Fabrics". I cut some off the panel to make them smaller for the placemats and just added the border piece that was originally on the edge of the panel back on to the sides. Pretty easy.
For a topper/wallhanging I think I will Fussy cut one of the other panels and do the Center Stage Pattern and add a couple more fabrics.
