Looking for a simple placemat pattern

I want to make some for a Christmas gift but being new to quilting I need simple and not too big. I have bought 3 FQ's in a pattern that will match her kitchen perfectly.

heres a pic of the ones I'm doing for Christmas, you can use the prequilted fabric for the bottom and then just stitch in the ditch, or add your own batting and backing and bind it off. I'm doing the red ones the first way and the snoopy ones the second way
