I've finally got up the nerve to 'christen' my lil twister. I'm quite happy with the results so far... my first attempt at 'twisting as well as flange. Question now is what do/should I do to finish it? I'm new at FMQ and don't want to ruin this project. If you've made a twister wreath how did you quilt it?
Suggestions welcome - thanks

I haven't made one of these, but if I was quilting it, I'd free motion holly and berries on the wreath part, and do something else not as fancy on the white part. Then, maybe a string of holly leaves for the border.

That came out very pretty.
I personally would free motion quilt in the white areas and in the wreath area, I would free motion quilt holly leaves :D Others might just sid, bind it and hang it. I like a lot of quilting though.

You have to do what you think is best for you though.

What a lovely idea! It is so beautiful! I think that quilting the white fabric, around the inner and outer circles would be nice . Perhaps stipling may work if you don't wish to detract too much from the lovely wreath?

Do you have the lil twister template? There have been some posts with pictures of wreaths which I loved. So after reading the directions that came with my template, I figured out where my colors had to be & went with it.
