    Hi, Jane! this block you sow I decided to make into a wall hanging. if you want to make a quilt for a bed you need to make 4 ea. this size and 1 larger for the center. Now I will try to answer your question of how to attach this block. You have to make four squares 7" then cut in half diagonally. The patter is called "Star spin quilt " it's better if you look for it on ebay, because I haven't figured it all out yet. I bought my fabrics at JoAnns.
