I made this quilt also. This one was for my granddaughter for Christmas. I did not put the sashing strip in but did snowball the corner blocks. Really easy quilt, I will make another!

I'm making one of these too! I'm supposed to be working on another project, but I'm mad at it right now, so I started the big star. Here's the first:

Omg. I made one block yesterday. Took almost 3 hours. Mostly un-sewing.. Seems I could not pick up the pieces from the design board, carry them to my machine and sew down the right side... Then wondering just how I scouts have sewn the wrong sides of the strips together. Next one has to be so much easier. Just could not make a second one yesterday .. Wondering if anyone has days like this.

I just finished one for our oldest son's 42nd birthday. Made it with University of GA fabric along with red & black . Came out really nice & super quick
