This tutorial is so easy to follow! Makes me want to do a quilt that has pieced borders!

This tutorial shows how to calculate the size of the strips that need to be cut. I hope it's clear--it's the first tutorial I've ever even thought about posting. While looking at tutorials I saw this and had to see what coping strips are. I was so surprised. I have been doing this since I started quilting 6 years ago and never knew it was a technique. I just thought I was fixing my mistakes! Enjoyed your tutorial, BTW. Good job.

For anyone who does not have Microsoft Office or Word, there is a free substitute.
https://www.openoffice.org/ I'm told that it work with MS office.
