I found the PDF Thank you. I tried this block before and it turned out awful. Maybe now I can get it. Thank you so very much. Both the tut and the pdf.

Thank you so much..I got it..
I did a right click on the "download" and then "save target as". Then when it downloads, I "open" it. In Vista, you have to give permission to open it. Thank you for this tut.
thanks so much for this wonderful tutorial. I've always wanted to do this but was afraid of it. will def. be doing it now. also thanks to Laurlync for putting it all together in a pdf file you gals are great.
Jan says, Thanks to the several of you who helped me get this into a pdf format!! Laurlync happened to be the first to get it to the topic page -- yay Laurlync -- but others made the effort as well. This board never ceases to amaxe me with the help and friendshops here! Now that I have a way to do this, I'll soon post more of my tutes/patterns. I love to share them.Originally Posted by blossom808

I'm posting the pattern I wrote for making the Card Trick block using squares and rectangles, not a triangle in sight in the block.
The block is then set on point within the top, with setting triangles instructions included here, too.

Here they are in PDF

Hi Jan, I couldn't get it to work on my computer. I sure would like to see the pattern and instructions. Just what I have been looking for. Can you send it to me. Maria
