    I've used the one in my purse for over a year and it hasn't worn through. So sorry. I think they're great fun and endless possibilities of fabric styles. They were our most popular item at our auction last year and went for $$.

    and there are tons and tons of other tutorials if you google "snap bag tutorial"...even a bunch of you tube videos..
    I am going to put this on my to-do list!

    Yes there is a pattern for these. It's a shame that someone spent time to figure out a way to do something, drew up the pattern, spent money to publish the pattern and then someone just posts it for everyone to COPY without even crediting the designer.

    In that case the side that curves inward would face the outside of the bag. Hope that helps
