Print and cut the stars out for this one we are going to use the bigger star, but you can use both!

Cut the star from wax paper (this will be your template)

Pick out the color of the back

Second part:

scoot the kitty along from clawing my leg
[ATTACH=CONFIG]251151[/ATTACH]

trace the wax paper star template onto the BACK of the star fabric
[ATTACH=CONFIG]251152[/ATTACH]

After you cut the fabric star place it on the backing fabric and PIN IT DOWN!!!

Thank you - I am trying to make a "big dipper" quilt, and wondered how you would applique around small stars. Does it fray when washed?
