Thanks Judy for this tutorial. My steering wheel gets cold even here in the middle of North Carolina. And I remember Patti Cook from PAQA (Phoenix Area Quilting Association). And I thunk she belonged to Busy Bees but not sure about that. I do remember a Volkswagen beetle car quilt she made - really cute. I suppose it's possible I know you, too. Been away from Phoenix since 2003.

Thanks for the cool tote -

i used sleeper foot fabric- the gripper kind-as the backing. it grips really well! dh is getting a new car this week and i think it would make a lovely present, don't you!? wish i knew what color he is getting. guess i'll have to use 'builders' beige' . thanks for the very timely tute!

Do you put the grippers on the inside so they touch the steering wheel or the outside for your hands? In my head both are options.

Thanks for the tute and also for other suggestions and photos. My steering wheel gets pretty dirty from my hands and I think one of these would help ..... plus of course the hot and cold factor of the steering wheel would be remedied!

Another feature is that your just put. The coverin your washer with a load of clothes, I do not pot in drier though. It comes out like new...the do fade it some, by that time you are ready for a new one and your have all the right measurement to replace it. . The photo of the multicolor cover had been washed before photo was taken.
